Science
The Science Faculty consists of the Biology, Chemistry and Physics departments.
The following courses are on offer in the Science Faculty:
S1- All S1 pupils have 3 periods of Science per week which cover the following topics:
Introducing Science, Chemical Reactions, Materials, Biological Systems, Environmental Biology, Forces and Space, Energy

S2- All S1 pupils have 3 periods of Science per week which cover the following topics:
Chemical Reactions, Materials, Biological Systems, Environmental Biology, Forces and Space, & Energy
Chemical Reactions, Materials, Biological Systems, Environmental Biology, Forces and Space, & Energy
S3 - All S3 pupils choose at least 1 Science subject. Each science subject is allocated 2 periods per week.
S3 Biology covers Cell Biology, Multicellular Organsims & Life on Earth
S3 Chemistry covers Chemical Changes & Structures, Nature's Chemistry & Chemistry in Society
S3 Physics covers Dynamics, Space, Waves & Energy
S4 – S6
Senior pupils can study Biology, Chemistry & Physics at the following levels:
- National 4
- National 5
- Higher
- Advanced Higher
