Mathematical and Numerical Studies

S1 to S3

All pupils follow a broad general education (BGE) course at stages 2 through to 4, though our more able pupils will have the opportunity to sample National 5 materials if appropriate to the course.

Our aim is to ensure that pupils develop:

Essential numeracy skills which will allow them to participate fully in society.

A secure understanding of the concepts, principles and processes of mathematics.

Senior students have the opportunity to study:

• Mathematics at National 4 and 5, Higher and Advanced Higher
• Applications of Mathematics at National 3, 4 and 5.
