Digital Literacy

S1 – one period a week

The course starts with the P7 STEM Transition Project in collaboration with the feeder primaries, science, technical studies and maths. A department introduction looking at file management, health & safety in the computer suites and internet safety follows. We then look at the general theoretical principles of Digital Literacy before working on our practical skills including internet, e-mail, publisher and iPad skills. We also cover Cybersecurity.
