Creative DESIGN Technologies Department

 Currently the CDT department offer the following courses:

 S1 - All pupils take CDT in S1 for one period a week as part of the main curriculum. The subject includes projects in  Design and Manufacture, Graphic Design and Practical Woodworking. 

 S2 - All pupils take CDT in S1 for one period a week as part of the main curriculum. The subject includes projects in  Design and Manufacture, Graphic Design and Practical Woodworking. 

 S3 - Pupils may select Design & Manufacture / Graphic Communication / Practical Woodworking in S3 as part of their subject choices. This course runs for the whole year and is for 3 periods a week. These courses build on previous BGE experiences and prepare students for the full SQA courses in the three subjects.

Senior school pupils may select one or several of the subjects below:

• Design and Manufacture - National 5, Higher 

• Practical Woodworking - National 4, National 5 
• Graphic Communications - National 4, National 5, Higher
