Getting to Galashiels Academy

The nearest railway station is Galashiels on the Borders Line - about a 10 minute walk. You will need to access the Borders Line from Edinburgh - the line ends at Galashiels.

By car, the Academy is just off the A7, the main road through Galashiels. For sat nav use TD1 3HU.

Please note - the on line maps have not yet been updated for the new campus. Pedestrian access is either via the new gates in Scott Street (directly opposite St Johns Street) or the main entrance in Livingstone Place.

There is currently no car parking available & we have a no car policy in place at the campus, Please DO NOT try to bring cars onto the site. Visitors should park in the surrounding streets & walk to the campus. We have a very limited number of blue badge parking spaces available near the front door. Contact the school for access details.
