University of Cambridge S4 and S5 Information Seminars
The University of Cambridge is delighted to be visiting Scotland in March 2017 to deliver a series of information seminars for students who may be considering applying to the University of Cambridge.
The events are open to students in S4 and S5, and to their teachers and advisers. They will be delivered by Admissions Tutors and Schools Liaison Officers from Homerton, Pembroke and Selwyn Colleges, University of Cambridge. All events are free of charge.
The Information Seminars will be delivered in Edinburgh, on the following times and dates:

What do the sessions cover?
The Information Seminars will cover a range of topics, including:
An introduction to the university, including information on what we can offer to students: world-class teaching, high-quality facilities, exceptional academic and personal support, an accommodation guarantee and excellent employment prospects.
Application to the University of Cambridge
What admissions tutors are looking for and how applicants are assessed
Making an application: personal statements
Advice on how to write an effective personal statement
Making an application: interviews
What to expect and how to prepare
1. Teachers/Advisers: Admissions Tutors will lead teachers/advisers through the assessment of applicants using real (anonymous) application forms.
2. Students: Living and studying in Cambridge.
