In case of resilient schools
It is that time of year again and we want you to be aware of procedures should resilient schools be invoked. Pupils who normally get school transport should not attend – if resilient schools is invoked then there will be no school transport. The attached letter gives more information about this.
We expect all other pupils to attend. Just like in previous years, S1 – S3 will follow an alternative timetable, which is also attached. This timetable will enhance learning in school and give opportunities for more challenge and enjoyment. S4 – S6 pupils will be doing study in the assembly hall. Particularly at this time of year, with the run up to prelims and final exams, pupils should be prepared to make full use of this study time, ready with revision materials, especially past papers. Staff will be available to help, so this could be a another good opportunity to catch up on things that pupils need more help with.
In terms of staffing, it is only our teachers who live within walking distance who attend. We are, however, supported by staff from other schools who help us ensure that the learning momentum is maintained.
Please do get in touch if you have any queries regarding this process.
