The Academy dominated possession and territory, spending most of the match in the Linlithgow half.
Tries were scored by Aidan Turner, Robbie Irvine and Steven Patterson. Struan Mitchell kicked four of his five attempts at goal. The whole team, under Aidan Turner’s leadership, kept the pressure on a determined Linlithgow throughout the match. The final score of 24-5, however, is a fair reflection of the Academy’s dominance.
The Academy and their coach, Lewis Bertram, look forward to the draw for the next round, and will be hoping to continue the Academy’s long run of high achievement in national competition.
